It may sound cliché, but dance has truly shaped who I’ve become and what I stand for as a person – from the first day I laced up the ribbon of my ballet shoes I knew that I wanted to spend every second of everyday dancing. I’ve worked tirelessly for the past 3 years for my ISTD DDI and DDE qualifications in both Imperial Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre. Soon after graduating from the prestigious dance course at Chichester College I founded Dare Dance Academy. Everyday I teach I find myself inspired by my bright-faced and eager to learn pupils. Being able to see both boys and girls enthralled with dance as I once was at their age truly spurs me on to give them the best possible chance to develop further. I’m looking forward to an exciting future with both my pupils and Dare Dance Academy!

‘Dance has always been my passion right from the age of 5 where my journey began. Over the years I have received endless amounts of dance training from exceptionally talented teachers from the dance schools I have been apart of. I completed my dance teaching training and qualification with the IDTA exam board and passed with the highest marks of a distinction (International dance teachers association), which has always been my dream. I’m so excited to share my love and compassion for dance with ‘Dare Dance Academy’ as a teacher, as well as watch the students progress and develop into little stars. I’d like to think I will inspire the students at ‘Dare’ and believe I can help them succeed and achieve their goals. From the very first class I ever taught I knew this was the career path for me, as I found that teaching is an extremely rewarding job, which I absolutely love. I believe dance has made me the person I am today and can not wait to pursue my dance teaching career further in the future.’

Singing, dancing and drama has always been a big part of my life. Since the age of 7 I have loved everything about Musical Theatre and I just hope I can go on to study it in the near future after I get my A Level results. I am currently getting singing and drama lessons as well as ballet, tap and jazz lessons at the Guildford School of Acting. Dare Dance has given me the opportunity to pass on my passion onto eager students who will hopefully one day find as much joy in Musical Theatre as I do.

- DDI Modern, Tap and Ballet

I started my dance training at Tanzen Academy, in Ardingly, from the age of 3 years old. Here I began my climb up the dance examination ladder. I also enjoyed participating in many shows, festivals and competitions along the way.
Some years later, I moved to Stages Performing Arts Centre, in Crawley, where I continued working towards achieving my Ballet, Tap and Modern grades, up to advanced levels.
At the age of 19, I attended Chichester College to further my studies. I gained both a Diploma in Dance Instruction (Ballet, Tap and Modern) and a Diploma in Dance Education (Modern and Tap).
Being able to teach something that is a big part of my life is amazing. Experimenting with different styles of dance, through exciting choreography, is something I enjoy to do. I look forward to being able to pass my knowledge and experience on to students at Dare Dance Academy.
Dare Dance Academy was founded in early 2014. And since then it has grown into one of the most exciting dance schools in Surrey.
The ISTD is one of the world’s leading dance examination boards with the widest range of dance genres available. Highly regarded amongst dancers.
